City Celebrates 20 Years in Downtown Tucson
We are thrilled to announce the 20th Anniversary Celebration of City High School and Paulo Freire Freedom Schools! Join us on Saturday, April 26th, 2025! The event will be from 5:00 - 7:30.
Since 2004, City High School and Paulo Freire Freedom Schools have been rooted in the heart of downtown Tucson. Through innovative teaching methods, community partnerships, and a deep commitment to equity, we have created a legacy of learning that celebrates diversity, creativity, and resilience.

Alumni Event: Friday, April 25th
Calling all alumni! We are gathering for an evening of food, drink, stories, and connection on Friday, April 25th, 2025 at The Monsoon Room at JoJo's Restaurant downtown to celebrate over two decades of community! All City High and Paulo Freire alums are welcome, along with friends, partners, and children.
The event is free to attend and light appetizers will be provided.
