Congratulations to the four CHS students who competed at SARSEF. Orion, Ari, Aleph, and Annalie all earned awards for their achievement in science and engineering at this year's SARSEF competition. Their thoughtful projects explored pressing issues and resulted in important data. The students were guided through the SARSEF project by City High School science teacher Steve Beall. Congratulations to our science superstars!
During the PFFS Intersession Week, students in the Roots and Beats experience took their love for music to the next level, working with a local production company to create their very own musical track. Bringing in their own instruments—including a harp!—they experimented with sound, rhythm, and production techniques to craft something uniquely their own. Beyond making music, they explored the professional side of the industry, gaining insight into how their favorite artists bring albums to life through recording, mixing, and collaboration. This hands-on experience gave students a real-world look at music production, from creative inspiration to final track mastering. By blending passion with professional skill, Roots and Beats showed students that their musical dreams could become reality!
